How to create atmosphere with sound, light, image, text, body, voice?

mike hentz developed “climate” as an artistic technique that he uses and applies already for years in performances, events and stagings.

during its course, a narration is created and is characterised by dramaturgy, expectation, framework and techniques of synchronisation and extends as far as warmth, cold, smells, light, time & timing and  room design. It’s about practising how to sensibilise, create an atmosphere, develop a topic in work groups. during half time: all participants eat chinese hotpot with first performance.

 performance artist, painter, media consultant, professor & teacher. one
 of the pioneers of media art. founded the performance group minus
 delta t, the artists’ groups frigo, radio bellevue, european media art lab
 and van gogh tv. music projects: padlt noidlt, lux, steve garling, cologne
 music connection, mist, microgamma, K(I)M, the fall, minami,
 hammerparty and a few dj-projects. organiser of different festivals, such
 as medusafestival in poland and lalafestival in germany. dj-set at
 donaufestival krems 2017. numerous exhibitions in germany and
 switzerland. teacher at art schools in germany, switzerland, eastern
 europe and china.
